Greifenkeil meets Griffonvox: Blood Mystery Wave

GriffonVox: Out of control at Wave Gotik Treffen - Leipzig, Germany
Those who would like to experience Griffonvox' atmospheric performance live, will have the opportunity during the WGT: GriffonVox will be on stage at 30 May 2009 in the Moritzbastei. Who wants to get further information, will be able to do so during the whole WGT: Under the slogan "Schall und Rauch" ("sound and smoke") the GriffionVox Label GrenTzwert will present music and fine incense by Nebelwelt in the Agrahalle.

GriffonVox present pre-snippets and pictures to the EP "Control Lost"
Right in time to the Wave Gotik Treffen it's going to happen: GriffonVox will release their first own EP on 29 May 2009.
The EP confronts the destructive manipulation of nature by mankind in an artistic manner. GriffonVox stages the New Wave classic "She's lost control" from Joy Division as a parable on this destructive behaviour. An elaborate video clip can be found in the EP as a visual interpretation of this statement, which has been supported by the environmental organization Greenpeace with authentic film material. Additionally there are new tracks on the EP as well as Wave remixes of formerly published Greifenkeil titles, all wrapped in finest artwork.
A fortaste of the upcoming EP is already available at MYSPACE as well as on the GriffonVox home-page. With snippets of the new tracks the band allows an acoustic preview to the audio EP. At Myspace it's also possible to glance - via slideshow - into the video which has been produced with support of GREENPEACE. Sensitive topic here is the environmental degradation.

For the past couple of months the question "Who is GriffonVox" spooked around
the social network portal MySpace. Without any music or band info, nearly 3000
people became friends of the new pro-file. Now the veil is lifted, the silence
broken:
GriffonVox is the sequel to the development of Greifenkeil. The performance
project started out as "Greifenkeil" with the intention to develop an individual
style of music, and to present this to the audience in form of an unforgettable
event, as a high quality performance show.

At this years Wave Gotik Treffen, GrenTzwert was again be represented at an own booth in the Agrahalle. Impossible to be overseen or overheard (despite of the overall "noise battle") we presented the new Greifenkeil Album Blood Mystery.

Greifenkeil - Blood Mystery - out now
a magic acoustical cosmos about the elixir of life
Passionate and pulsating, nightmarish and unleashing, enraged and lamenting - a fascinating and breath taking journey to the source of life. "Blood Mystery - The Mystery of Blood" - this is not about blood sucking plush vampires or knife stabbing mass murderers. Greifenkeil deliberately does not confirm any of these clichés: "Blood Mystery" introduces the first part of a magic tale of the mysterious elixir of life.
Regarding the musical arrangements, the listener can look forward to more then 65 minutes of hypnotic voices, psytrance basses, shamanic industrial rhythms and psycho acoustic sounds: a very unique cosmos of acoustics, which meanwhile deserves its own name: Greifenkeil - "The Sound of Blood".
"Blood Mystery" is the first release of an ambitious artistically designed "Blood" trilogy, appealing not only the senses of treasure hunters.

Greifenkeils "Imagination" - specially composed for ArtVera

Very personally Greifenkeil offers to ArtVera
"Imagination", a fully featured track as requested by her. "Imagination" heavily
relies on psycho-acoustic treatment and intense rhythms. This track is available
to all our visitors as free
download. However, most of this en-joyment is lost through rendering into
mp3, and thus disposing of the spirit of the track. Therefore we offer this
track for our registered Users also as CDR, incl. cover art.
Imagination offers a foretaste of the forthcoming Greifenkeil album, being released
in May. With "Blood Mystery", Greifenkeil opens the first episode of a magical
tale. Regarding the musical arrangements, the listener can look forward to musical
elements such as pul-sating rhythms, hypnotic vocals & voices, eerily & beautiful
Greifenkeil sounds.
For the opener "Blood Mystery", the band lately was on camera composing the
first Greifenkeil video production. Thereby, an abandoned, historical industrial
building complex provided the nocturnal scenery for the visual creation. After
the final cut, the video will be soon available on our website.

The activation of the 7000 year old portal is a statement towards the pre-servation

the Portal. It contains a members-only area for registered visitors and friends

Grentzwert at the WGT 2007
This year you will find us at the Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig with our own stand in the Agra hall. We are bringing along the long awaited Greifenkeil album 'Symbol' as a digipack and limited collectors' edition. The 'Special Fan Edition' contains an additional fabric banner and is available at Infarot and at the Grentzwert booth exclusively. Visuals and Tracks provide an audio-visual taste of the new album. Greifenkeil will be present at the stand in person.

Preparations for new release running at full speed
Only a few weeks more. You can look forward to two albums to be released at
the end of April. Both are completely different, and yet, they have one thing
in common. They are s.i.d. ..... eo ipso eo ipso provides rhythmical
industrial to trashy electro. As debut with GrenTzwert there are - next to several
new tracks - technically revised versions and remixes of their earlier works.
Together they form an intoxicating album, which more than justifies the titel
Endzeitstimmung. Danger - danceinducing! The debut album of Greifenkeil
is a credo of artistic individuality. Ranging from electro to industrial to
